The HSE has recently admitted liability in a medical negligence action in which we represent a teenager, who has cerebral palsy, arising from the circumstances of his birth at South Tipperary General Hospital at Clonmel.

The proceedings were commenced in August, 2012 and it has taken until December 2015 for an admission to be forthcoming.  The case will now proceed as an assessment of damages and account will be taken of our client’s various needs, including his future care needs,  for the rest of his life, which has come as a great relief for his mother, who has been looking after him singlehandedly since he was born.

An update will be posted when the case has been resolved, which we hope will be in the coming months.
